Douglas Fir

Soft fragrant needles, this tree does well in partial shade to full sun. It prefers wet or moist climates and likes sandy, loam or clay soils.

Fraser Fir

Very soft, shiny, bright green foliage is silver on the underside. Likes cool, moist, well-drained soil. It will not do well in heavy, wet soil. It does not require full sun.

White pine

Does well in full sun or partial shade with ordinary soil. Excellent for windbreaks or screening, and as general specimen.

Scotch Pine

Stiff dark needles grow 3 to 6 inches long. Dense pyramidal growth, needs full sun, grows in ordinary to poor soil. Does equality well in limestone or acidic soil. Can take dry, rocky, windy conditions.

Grand Fir

The grand fir prefers moist, but well- drained sites. It grows bests on deep, moist soils. It can withstand nutrient-poor sites, such as sandy and sandy loam soils.
