Welcome

christmas

Located in the beautiful Shuswap district of British Columbia, we occupy twenty acres of fertile land along the Salmon River.

Surrounded by mountains, farms, and creatures both domestic and wild, it's a quiet and idyllic spot to raise a family, a few horses and Sport Ponies, and a large crop of Christmas Trees.

Tradition & Family Fun

christmas

Growing Christmas trees, like other types of farming, is a very rewarding way to make a living,. We have the added privilege of knowing that the product grown on our farm symbolizes the spirit of Christmas and that by operating a Choose & Cut we contribute in a small way to maintaining family traditions.

Your visit to Tink Farms Christmas Fields is more than a stop to pick up a fresh cut Christmas Tree. We offer lots of fun for the entire family, including:

  •  Hot Chocolate
  •  Hot Apple Cider
  •  Wagon Rides
  •  U-Choose and U-Cut
  •  Hot Dogs to Roast on the Fire
  •  Pony Rides, Minature Horses and more!

  • Come to the farm prepared for a day in the country. We are a working farm and our fields will have the occasional mound, uneven ground and stump. Wear comfortable shoes or boots and clothes suitable for being outdoors. Dress for the weather so you can enjoy your visit. We can have everything from sunshine to rain to snow so be prepared.
  • Don't forget to bring your camera!
  • We provide the saws. (No power or chainsaws permitted.)
  • We sell all our trees at a set price, not by the foot, so you can head in to the field and pick the tree that fits your needs.
  • Once selected and cut, bring your tree back to the shaking area where it will be shook to rid it of the old, dead needles. (all trees drop or shed needles as part of the life cycle of the tree). If you desire, we can also bale and wrap your tree for easier transport.
  • When you are checking out, remember to pick up a tree removal bag. It can be used as a tree skirt and then pulled up around the tree to help keep the floors clean when the tree is being taken down.
  • Please help support our local Shuswap Pony Club by buying a ride on a pony for your little ones! (you definately want your camera for this event!)
  • Pop in for some complimentary hot chocolate or apple cider to warm yourself up before you head home to decorate and enjoy your Real Christmas Tree!
